Currently accepting applications for the 2024/25 school year from 4/1-5/1 

Welcome to the application portal for Foxborough Regional Charter School. We enroll new K-9th grade students from anywhere in Massachusetts, with priority given to the 20 neighboring communities that make up our district including Attleboro, Avon, Brockton, Canton, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Norwood, Plainville, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, West Bridgewater, and Wrentham. Due to statutory limitations on enrollment, we are unable to offer seats to Randolph or Boston residents at this time.

Start Your Student Application

Click on a "Start Application Now" button. This will link you to our online application. A separate application form must be entered for each student.

Fill Out Your Application

Complete the guided step-by-step online application. Once your application is submitted successfully, you will receive an email confirmation with your unique ID#. Completing the application does NOT guarantee an offer of enrollment.

Application Processing

Applications are processed through our enrollment lottery in the first week of March. Students who are not offered a seat from the lottery will be placed on a waitlist for any seats that become available.

Lottery

Wednesday, March 5, 2025

At 12 PM sharp, a public drawing will be held from all applications received by February 14, 2025. Lottery results are posted online within 48 hours. All applicants will receive an email alerting them to the website posting.

Registration

Once a seat offer is made, parents must accept the offer and register their child. If the offer is not accepted within a seven-day window, the seat will be offered to a student on the waitlist. Currently enrolled students do not need to reapply.

Enrollment FAQs

  • How do I apply to FRCS?

    The application process is quick and easy. Complete the step-by-step application online. You will receive a unique ID#  by email when your application has been successfully submitted. After the lottery, held the first week of March, you will be notified if your student has received a seat offer or has been placed on the waitlist

  • How do I know if my child qualifies to apply and attend FRCS?

    We enroll K-9th grade students living in Massachusetts. Anyone living in Massachusetts can apply, but preference is given to 20 neighboring communities that make up our district including Attleboro, Avon, Brockton, Canton, Easton, Foxborough, Mansfield, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Norwood, Plainville, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, West Bridgewater, and Wrentham. There is a fee-based regional bus transportation program available if you choose to use it. 

  • Are there any costs to apply?

    No. We are a publicly funded charter school. There is no cost to apply or attend. 

  • Is there a student lottery?

    We will hold a lottery from the applications submitted by between October 16th, 2024, and February 14, 2025. The lottery will be held on March 6, 2025, at 12 noon. Parents/guardians of applicants and community members are welcome to attend via Zoom. Attendance is not required for consideration. All results will be posted at www.foxboroughrcs.org within 48 hours. Applicants will receive an email alerting them to the website posting. Families will be notified if their child has a seat offer. Applications exceeding available seats offered in the lottery will be placed on a waitlist and families will be notified if additional seats become available.

  • Does my child get a preference in the lottery if their sibling attends the school?

    Siblings of currently enrolled students do receive preference in the lottery but must provide birth certificate evidence to secure that status.

  • What must I do if we get a seat offer from the lottery draw?

    Once you receive a notification - you will have seven days to complete the registration process. The required documents are listed on the website

  • If my student is currently enrolled, do I need to reapply for the next school year?

    No! Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!

  • Is there a student dress code?

    Students (K-12) are required to present in a professional manner and in our school colors at all times. To better support the learning environment, our goal has been and is for students to maintain a professional, appropriate, and consistent appearance, free from distractions.   • What is SchoolMint?

    SchoolMint is an online enrollment and communication platform working with public charters and private schools to make the enrollment process for parents easier and faster.


    SchoolMint offers different options so parents can apply and register with a computer or mobile device. Parents can upload student documents, check application status, and even select the method in which they prefer to receive the school’s communications - by email or text.


    FRCS utilizes this enrollment software to ensure security and timely response to your student’s application.
