Learning Languages Opens Doors
Our World Language Program is exceptional and dedicated to nurturing bilingual graduates poised for international engagement. It emphasizes cultural exchange, developing global understanding and leadership skills. Students gain invaluable experiences that prepare them for a world where linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness are key to success.
We offer exceptional international travel opportunities for students. The 2024 trip opportunities include Italy, Peru, and Japan.
Students begin Spanish language immersion classes in kindergarten and may elect to learn another language in later grades.
FRCS is one of the most successful schools in the nation on the National Spanish Exam (NSE). 90% of our students earn national recognition, and students score on average in the 90th percentile in the US.
The annual semi-finals of the National Spanish Spelling Bee have been held on our campus. We are proud to host this event, and students participate in every level of the competition.
All Around Advancement
Extraordinary
Extracurriculars
When students explore new topics and enjoy a wide variety of activities at school, they grow to believe that all the doors in life are open to them. A well-rounded education provides students with the experiences they’ll need to be successful and fulfilled in whatever they pursue after graduation.
Our students build leadership and discover their talents and passions through activities such as: Debate Team, Spanish National Honor Society, Robotics, American Sign Language, Yearbook Club, Black Student Assembly, Science Olympiad, Art Club, Greenhouse & Gardening, Cooking, Theatre, National Chorus, Student Council, National Honor Society, and more! Clubs change yearly according to student interest.
Service Leadership
Through our innovative Student Life and Community Service Learning programs, we immerse students in engaging projects and real-world issues that demand sharp critical thinking and adept problem-solving. Our approach develops strong decision-making skills, bridging the gap between academic theory and practical application. This hands-on experience ensures our students are not just learning, but applying their knowledge to make tangible, positive impacts in their communities and beyond. Tomorrow's leaders are at FRCS today.
Everyone Has a Voice at Our Table
Differences in our community are celebrated, providing our students with the rich, well-rounded education needed for success in a world that values diversity as its greatest strength. FRCS is passionately committed to shaping a future where equity and inclusion shine brightly in every aspect of our schools. Embracing diversity is not just a concept but is our vibrant, active practice. We're enriching education with a kaleidoscope of ideas and perspectives as we develop a generation ready to thrive and lead in a diverse global society.
